Lesson 6 , 7 and 8

We were told to do a new assignment , to create a blog of our own.

Reflection

Our group find this assignment very new to us as none of us has created a blog of our own and we found this to be an interesting assignment.We have tried our best to create a good blog and hope this is good enough to impress the teachers.

Lesson 5

Trip to Ulu Pandan Water Reclamation Plant

Waste we produce does not stop only at our toilet bowls, it goes on to water reclaimation plant and after a series of filtration, it comes out as portable water.

THE TOILET BOWL IS NOT THE END. ITS JUST THE BEGGINING.

Reflections

When we reached our destination,the manager of the plant showed us a video clip about Singapore's water.Then we went on a trip around the Reclamation Plant.We were shown many kinds of filters used to produce portable water.We were shown what comes out lastly.The water reclamation plant uses state-of-the-art technology to filter water.At the end of the trip, we were given a water conservation activity booklet to complete on the next lesson.

Lesson 4

We had to create a filtering device that is able to transform muddy water into clear,portable water.

Reflections

At first we thought our device would not work because we did not do any research on filtering muddy water.During PW period,the teachers told us to set up our filtering device.There were only 3 of us there as the other 3 were absent.So we had to set up our device on our own.But at last our filtering device produce the clearest water.

Lesson 2 and 3

We were told to create our own logo and motto.

Reflection

We found the lesson interesting as we were new to creating a logo and motto of our own and we look forward to more interesting lessons ahead.

For lesson 3 we had to present our work to the teachers and the rest of the class and it was fun to see the different ideas of the other groups.

Lesson 1
We were taught on the different types of water usages in different countries. The Facts on water, how important is fresh water to us.
We also have a discussion on the ways to save water and what we can do to help.

The Group’s Reflections for 1st lesson:

We learn something on sludge and had a general introduction of water conservation, our mission, our aim and our objectives of this course. We also learnt something on sludge and some basic knowledge of water conservation.

Hello! We Are The Water Handlers as we are the water conservators.This is a sample post and will be deleted.

Our Motto is PRECIOUS WATER,PRECIOUS LIFE!Our adventure begins at the first lesson of water conservation,taught bt Mr Rafeek,Mdm Liao,Mrs Abdullah.

OUR adventure begins at the first lesson of water conservation.

We chose our motto as " precious water , precious life " because it means that without water , we will not have life , since water = life and life = precious so , we write precious water , precious life.

As for our logo,we chose a hand because we find that our life is in our own hands,and we need water to survive,thus we SHOULD have the responsiblility to take care of our water source,lest they run out.We chose green for our background is because green is associated with conservation.we chose a diamond shape because it is precious!
